Last week was such an amazing week I thought I would write a little blog about it and our little visit to Mind,Body and Spirit Festival 2017.

Before I tell you about what we loved about Mind,Body and Spirit Festival i wanted to share a little bit about what a week looks like at Peace of Mind Health.
I do love my work so much. Every day is complete Different. Just like every person is different you can never make assumptions as with every single client they will have a different life story which will affect every one of us differently.
The diversity my work brings really does balance my mind, body and spirit for sure !

Starting the week with Reiki and some interesting soul journey work with one client who had such a deep heart wound that they had totally disconnected from their soul . This work can be so freeing to do and we discovered how to start to clear some of those deep rooted issues. 💕

Mid week I had a cancellation ….for a very good reason , the best of reasons in fact!
The client had one session of Fertility Method Massage which had released a block that was holding her back from her unexplained fertility. This client contacted to say that the fertility massage appointment would no longer be required ! ….Pregnant 💕💕💕

Well with a couple of Transformational Coaching sessions , Fertility Method Massage and Reflexology, you can see how interesting the week gets for me .
I’m a Gemini, say no more 😂

So at the end of the week myself and a very dear friend Charlotte Davis Of Ladies That Do Networking  , took ourselves off to Mind ,Body and Spirit Festival in Birmingham .

What a lovely way to end a fabulous week.
I love Mind, Body and Spirit Festivals and go every year . It’s amazing to be around so much love, energy, peace and like minded souls who (mostly) leave their egos at the door.

There is so much to do at the Mind,Body and Spirit Festival That the day just flies by .
We did some

My favourite artist is Kwali Kumara. I just love her Heart Healer Meditation…and her hair is amazing! Like really amazing !
This workshop  included a Kundalini mantra and heart meditation for healing & purification followed by the sacred sound vibrations of the Venus and symphonic gongs. What’s not to love !!!

After that we squeezed ourselves into a packed teepee for a SoundBath and Mantra Magic workshop with Anne Malone. This was extremely Relaxing with the healing sounds and vibrations of Tibetan Bowls, Hang, Shamanic Drum and Rainstick a flowing as Anne takes you deeper into your Heart Song.

Doing the sound work reminded me of just how powerful those vibrations are for clearing the 3rd eye and even more so for clearing the physical body chakras ( especially those old tribal blocks ). I’m just writing material for my 2018 self development workshops on chakras and sacred goddess so some sound meditation may just work it’s way into the programme.

The rest of Mind , Body and Spirit Festival is a bit of a blur ,I vaguely remember a chakra cleanse and we attended a quantum field work workshop…..so much I can’t even remember it all.

All I know is by the end of the day at Mind, Body and Spirit Festival we were definitely  super blissed out happy bunnies 💕💕💕

Oh yes , I simply couldn’t resist the conscious chocolate stall !!!
Just 6 bars purchased between myself and Charlotte, I think we did rather well. 😂😋 …..
Until next year !

The Power Of Illness

The Power of Illness

Hi all,

I have been thinking about how we see Illness through the eyes of fear.

How often do you consider the power of Illness ?

Illness is something that creates fear , panic ….we want to get rid of it , zap it , overpower it with drugs or cut it out….fast!

In the negative Illness is actually a loss of power in the whole of your system but  …..in the positive if we can tune  into why it needs to exist it can be a huge power source to change us for the better .

when we become ill a part of our soul becomes disconnected or  lost. So unless or until we heal it at the soul level , we may Be able to suppress its symptoms for a while, but usually it comes back or goes deeper as the symptoms develop deeper within our physical body.

Illness is a message from parts of our soul we have lost touch with, the parts of us that disconnected and dissociated during traumatic events in our lives.

The more the symptoms feel overwhelming and painful, or the deeper they have gone within the body is showing and guiding you back to a moment we need to revisit, feel and bring love and soul connection back to. When we do this, healing can begin. Sometimes it may be a deep healing journey within, everyone is different.

Often those with no physical symtoms at all can be very numb and closed down. Their soul loss may manifest in different way…… they may find within their life there is always some kind of  outward conflict or accidents etc.

✨everything is a message , Our body disharmony is actually a message to bring us back to love.
✨everything in the universe is vibrating to bring us deeper into love.
✨can you allow yourself to trust and follow these messages ?
✨can you allow yourself to live within the flow of true life force and yourself to operate and manifest from soul level ?
✨can you listen to the power of your illness , when you stop trying to control the body it allows you to see your truth …..the body doesn’t lie …The body keeps the score.
✨can you work through to unravel the wounds of your soul loss ?
✨are you prepared to do what it takes to heal yourself ? …. this is the biggie that most people are actually not prepared to do .

The truth is that the power of illness when you aproach it from soul level can reconnect you, this journey may bring you back to the truth …then,ore we heal at soul,level the more we return to our original biological blueprint which is living in a flow of vitality, radiance and vital life-force energy in abundance .

Period Health, Fertility, Baby & You!

Hi All,

I have been thinking about the link between Period Health, Fertility, Baby & You and i thought it would be a good idea to write a blog for those of you wishing to have a baby.
If you are thinking of having a baby then it will be helpful to understand where your body is and period health can give some early indicators to help you with fertility.

In a nutshell , here are my top 5 points about how periods reflect fertility:

1. The amount of blood, thickness, colour and length of bleed……

The blood should be bright red, a healthy flow and last 3-7 days. If you are bleeding -3 days, then your lining may not be thick enough for implantation.

If you have darker blood, then you could have old impacted endometrium that is not shedding, meaning there is less healthy endometrium for the egg to implant on. A Fertility Massage Therapy can help with both of these problems along with castor oil packs. 

2. No period at all or irregular periods……

Unless you are on the pill not having a period is a sign of something not quite right which could be a structural restriction or it could also be that you need to give yourself a better chance of making hormones by eating the right foods. A fertility massage can help with the structural imbalance.

3. Spotting……….

Spotting tends to happen just before a period or around ovulation. In some cases it can be a sign of super fertility, but in other cases, it can be a sign of either an oestrogen or progesterone insufficiency.

4. Painful periods…….

There are so many causes of painful periods, but common ones include micronutrient deficiencies (the same ones you need for good egg quality), adhesions and constriction in the pelvic area, or even tilted pelvis which prevents the womb from emptying the old lining properly, and prevents oxygen and nutrients getting to the womb area in the quantities needed for a lining that can nourish an egg.

5. PMS….

This can be a sign of certain deficiencies such as B6, B9 and B12.

How can I benefit from Meditation ?
What is Meditation all about ?

Today I decided to write a blog about the many amazing benefits of meditation as many of my clients have been asking me what meditation is all about.

There are so many different ways we can meditate, it really doesn’t have to be about sitting for hours in silence which can be extremely time consuming and hard to practice in the world we live in…..and this is really why we DO need meditation .

I teach meditation classes , not just on the mindful practice that meditation is known for , but also looking at guided meditations, chakra awareness , feeling energy for physical healing , Prana  breath work ( to name but a few techniques) .

The world we live in is gettting faster and busier and we need to relearn tools and techniques to allow us to be able to cope in the world.
If we do not counterbalance this fast pace of life that we all live in then we become seriously unbalanced which has a huge effect on our emotional and physical health….by which time it becomes then a colossal task to bring back that balance and it may take us years to overcome this obstacle.

I’m sure you have all heard many times that prevention is better than the cure and if we can approach meditation with this mindset then we are far more likely to achieve a sense of peace and lasting balance with ease.

Did you know that just 20 minutes of meditation nourishes your body in the same way that 4 hours of good sleep does…..so just 10 minutes = 2 hours of sleep.
So if you struggle to sleep then it’s a no brainer …..meditate!

Furthermore, it is relevant to note that  meditation also helps you to achieve a much better quality of sleep. So here is a list of some of the further benefits meditation offers for the MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT ( ENERGY, SOUL );

In a meditative state, you are in a space of vastness, calmness and joy and this is what you emit into the environment, bringing harmony to the Creation/planet.
Meditation can bring about a true personal transformation. As you learn more about yourself, you’ll naturally start discovering more about yourself.
How to get meditation benefits

So in summary, to experience the benefits of meditation, regular practice is necessary and as you begin it can help if you join a class whilst you practice to share the space.
If you practice at home too …..It takes only a few minutes every day…..once you get into the practice I’m sure (like me ) you will find that meditation is the best part of your day!

Moringa Power Balls

These Moringa Power Balls are amazing!!!!

I love making healthy alternatives to my favourite foods, and these Moringa power balls are just bursting with antioxidants. Moringa is great in smoothies and power balls. I make these Moringa power balls and keep in the freezer.

They are a great snack , the kids will love making them ( so easy !h and I use them when I am training as they have far more protein and energy than these overpriced commercial ( and artificial ) power drinks, snacks and protein powders (All of these are highly processed and protein powders are often heated to the point that the protein is denatured, which makes it nearly impossible for the body to use. They increase acidity and toxicity in the body, which can lead to inflammation and disease).

What is Moringa I hear you ask …..well this wonderful dried powder comes from the leaves of the Moringa tree which is prized in Ayurvedic medicine because it has so many health and healing properties ;

– naturally gives an energy high which is not sugar based.
– controls blood sugar ( good for diabetics ).
– it has the highest protein ratio of any plant so far identified.
– has 18 ( of the 20) amino acids he body needs.
– it is antiviral , anti inflammatory and antibacterial so supports immune function.
– lowers blood pressure.
– The Moringa tree purifies water , binds itself to toxins therefore detoxifies the body.
– binds itself to toxins.
– 7 x the vitamin C of oranges, 4 x the calcium of milk, 4 x the vitamin A of carrots, 3 x the potassium of bananas, and 2 x the protein of yogurt.
– over 90 other nutrients recorded to date.
– no adverse reactions ever recorded.
– good for auto immune conditions , diabetics, arthritis, ulcers, helps sleep, blood pressure , pain , inflammation ……have I sold you on Moringa yet !!!

INGREDIENTS
200g dried fruit ( I use sultanas , untreated or dates )
200g nuts ( I use almonds or walnuts as I prefer the benefits these give ) soak in water for 4 hours and rinse to release the physic acid
2 tablespoons Moringa *
2 tablespoons raw cacao *
1/2 teaspoon Madagascan vanilla essence *
* these are to my taste but adjust to your own. I also enjoy adding peppermint essence but use the flavours you like or leave ” naked” as the cacao will add depth of flavour too.

DIRECTIONS
Drain nuts and whizz up in a blender until well chopped.
Add the fruit , Moringa , cacao and essence and blend.
You make wish to add a little raw honey too , if so blend.
Roll into balls and pop into the freezer.
They will not freeze solid and can be eaten as a snack straight from the freezer.
Experiment and roll the balls in some desiccated coconut or dried goji berries to alter the taste and texture.

Serve + enjoy = That’s it!
