10 Laws Of Attraction That Will Change Your Life

Laws Of Attraction or Laws Of The Universe .

I have found in my life if i remind myself to  follow these laws of the universe (or laws of attraction) which in this format originate from my bhuddist learnings then my life is much happier. I formatted these into 10 laws below and i hope they help you too. Keep them close to remind you as life can get in the way ! Enjoy!

1. The Law of Cause and Effect.

What does this really mean ?

Well whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us.
If what we want is Peace, Happiness, Kindness, compassion, no fighting, Love, Friendship… etc….. Then we should BE Peaceful, Happy, Kind , giving etc and really live every aspect of our lives this way. Only then will our lives be fulfilled.

2. The Law of Creation.

What does this really mean ?

Life doesn’t just HAPPEN, it requires our participation….ACTION …..We have to manifest this (or create our life).
We are connected to  the Universe, not separate from it. So surround yourself with what you want to have in your Life and act as though you have it which will bring it into creation.

3. The Law of Growth.

What does this really mean ?

Often we think it is other people or situations that must change, however for us to really evolve as spiritual beings and grown we need to look within ourselves and be the change we want for  our peace and contentment. We rely on other people for our happiness, and are therefore often disappointed. The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES and that is the only thing we have control over.
5. The Law Of Responsibility.

What does this really mean ?

We must take responsibility what is in our life as if there is something wrong in our life, there is something wrong within us, our emotions.
We mirror what surrounds us,  and what surrounds us mirrors us. No-one else is responsible for our happiness, our life etc WE are the creators of our world, WE are the only ones that can find peace, contentment , joy in our lives.  (see above law).

6. The Law of Connection.

What does this really mean ?

Everything in the Universe is connected. Every action creates something. So as law 1 states. Every time you do something it affects the collective consciousness of the universe. Past-Present-Future they are all connected too.  If you harm another then you harm yourself, etc. So when you have an interaction with another person who you feel any negative emotion towards, understand that they are PART of you on some level, it will help to send love out , whatever the situation……that is a hard one but important for our collective evolution. If a person commits a negative action then it is because they are living in a state of disconnection, they have not learnt their soul’s  lessons or evolved from that negative place of torture ….yet,  yet so they NEED more love to bring them to a place of peace.

7. The Law of Focus.

What does this really mean ?

So if you think about it you can’t think of two things at once (or focus). So if you are thinking pure thoughts or meditating you will find it impossible to  to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger. So it is impossible to be sad and happy together, you are either in one state or another at any one moment. So focussing on how you wish your thoughts to be will reconnect you back to the grounded thought that you wish to keep (anchoring).

8. The Law of Giving.

What does this really mean ?

This is again a shoot off from the law of cause and effect, as what you give comes back …in abundance. So paying it forward or doing a good deed (without ego , need for validation, wanting anything in return ) is very powerful and brings back to you in many ways.

 

9. The Law Of Change. 

What does this really mean ?

History repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path for our greater good (or our soul purpose , which is to learn everything there is to learn about human experiences before we reach nirvana / enlightenment). We often wonder why we keep ending up in similar situations. WHY does this keep happening to ME ?? ….This is because we have not taken yet the learnings from the situation, therefore the universe will keep repeating until we take what we need for our souls journey growth (the bigger picture!).

 

10. The Law Of Significance. 

What does this really mean ?

You get back whatever YOU put into something. Whatever your energy, intent and contribution will = the result. So for example if you aspire to be  fit with a toned body and yet never seem to achieve it maybe blaming external factors such as poor metabolism, genes etc …then ask yourself…..how much time, effort and energy do you really contribute towards that goal.

6 easy steps guaranteed to make you happier.

Quite simply we are all looking to achieve peace, happiness & joy in our lives (well thats my take on it anyway!)  however we are often disappointed when we only get a mere glimmer of this.  We can become easily frustrated when we find it only for it to be lost again….arrrghhh!!!

There are many different psychologies out there offering insights into getting to know yourself which can be overwhelming and often we do not really know where to begin so i have put down in very simple terms a guide to offer you some easy and helpful advice.

I believe some of the most important values in life are :

Acceptance  , compassion , forgiveness , understanding , negotiation ,  and resolution. 

If we really think about these 6 basic human values and apply them mindfully within our lives then we cannot fail in becoming more peaceful, happier , in harmony and balance.

When we step away from these values we are only ever going to experience fleeting episodes of peace, happiness , joy and harmony . We can spend our whole lives searching for happiness and wondering why it is so wonderful at playing hide and seek with us ….or we can hold those above 6 steps within our mindful awareness at all times and watch how much easier everything becomes!

If you are in the position to be able to teach this to you children (or if you are a teacher of young people) then i believe these steps are the absolute key to allow young people to grow into balanced, healthy adults who are caring not only of themselves but of others and they will not only be grounded but will also have the courage to spread their wings and really fly!!!

New Year Body , Mind and Spirit

Happy New Year All..  We hope it will be filled with health, happiness, abundance and of course Peace Of Mind.

So this year as we begin with fresh thoughts of how we would like 2014 to be for us. Forget aboout New Years Resolutions, the hard task of feeling like we are ‘giving up’ everything (which is why we often lose hope and then feel like failures in whatever it is we put our minds to ‘give up ‘ or ‘remove’ from our lives. Instead Lets look at a few ideas for Mind, Body and Spirit to help you get there!

FRESH CREATIONS  begins this Sunday 5th January, so begin on a steady journey of  genuine commitment to realise your full potential now!!!  No matter what it is you do, take small steps as these will have a much more profound and lasting effect on your life….and enjoy the ride…have fun!!!!!

Mind

Within our minds we have the capacity to achieve ALL that we wish for, we can also decide whether or not we allow something to hold us back from that true potential.  When we are able to free our minds from the negative aspects of these ‘blocks’  or ‘obstacles’ we can really fly….and what an amazing journey that can be. Of course it is sad when we encounter such blocks and feel pain and suffering . For some it becomes the thing that stops them from true living …no-one else can give you permission to live out your full potential but YOU!!!

Body

At this time of year in Traditional Chinese Medicine we are in the water phase which is related in our physical bodies to the Kidney and Bladder and in emotions relates to feelings of Anxiety and Fear of what is yet to come. We need to keep the kidneys warm or the body will put a layer of fat around this area to ensure those vital life force organs are protected (so wrap up warm & keep the midriff cosy ladies!!!).  We need to conserve energy at this time of year, its about hibernation and nourishment.  Good foods include Kidney Beans  and  warm hearty root vegetable and squash soups.  Eat whole grains, and chlorophyll rich foods (greens) . Avoid cold and damp foods and Lemons and citrus fruits are most beneficial to cleanse and detoxify.

Spirit

Now is the time to cleanse your meridian energies, if your Water meridians have an imbalance of either over or under energies then this will impact on the next seasonal organs and emotions will be impacted (after water we move into Wood which relates to the Liver and GallBladder and stores anger.   Reiki , Chakra Healing, EFT or  or Meridian rebalancing can be a wonderfully gentle relaxing and yet very powerful therapy to help the subtle energies of the body back to harmony.

How our thoughts impact on our health

It is important for us to understand the total impact our thoughts and feelings can have on our body and health. Our mind is everything and what we hold as our beliefs will manifest within our body and our overall health.

Negative minds, or situations where we have felt helpless or ‘wronged’ if not unblocked will  create not only stress in the mind but then as time goes by it begins to upset the body chemical and hormonal balance creating the dis-ease state within the body.

For example ……if we store anger which has not been ‘processed’ on an emotional level then this could manifest in health conditions such as issues of the liver, gallbladder, digestive disorders and later hypertension and CV disease.  This particular emotion can be difficult for many people to truly let go of as we feel if we let go  it is kind of like saying its ok …..Acceptance does not come easily!

For example ……we may struggle to ‘digest’ some information in a current situation . Feeling wronged or not listened to . This may impact on our digestion with stomach cramps , IBS  and depending on the emotion felt at the time , lets say the person was fearful then this could impact on the kidneys or the bladder too  however if they were holding anger then this may affect the liver and so on.

Some of these negative emotional states may be linked to past experiences and as we did not process the original emotional state / experience our minds continue to run the same programmed ‘belief system’ which over time creates dis-ease or dis harmony within the physical body.

When we look at the persons health here at Peace Of Mind Health we are using principles from Traditional CHinese Medical Diagnostics , NLP, and touch for meta-health. By analysing the whole person , their emotions, beliefs, meridian energy, chakras etc  we can then help that client let go of those past cycles of stress, health trigger and begin to heal their bodies naturally.

Building Harmonious Relationships

Hi All,

We have been doing a lot of work  this month on helping clients build harmony within relationships.

Many of the questions that often come up involve clients feeling ‘stuck’ , ‘helpless ‘ or ‘desperate’ to change the relationship.

Sometimes this negative phase can leave us feeling so despondent and we often get left with many negative including feelings of frustration or built up anger (or both !!)

Have you ever felt like this ? ….My partner / boss / colleague / friend / family will NEVER change ??? ….It doesn’t seem to matter what you do ?!!!!

How do we overcome this ?

Can we really create change in somebody… without them consenting or knowing about it?

HAPPINESS – self help tips for observing peace of mind

Hi All,

I have been working a lot this month coaching clients on how they can find inner peace and acceptance of themselves….Quite often we are always comparing ourselves and this can lead to negative thought patterns.

So if we are not comparing ourselves to others then we are comparing ourselves to ourselves based on our past experiences.

Our mind can run away with these thoughts , why is it that we find it so difficult to accept ourselves…just for who we are and to accept the present moment for what it is. Because even if the present moment is not what you have chosen for yourself ( because let’s face it , who actually consciously chooses to have problems ) we need to accept it is a reality right now, …and our resistance to it creates unhappiness.If we can accept the reality then this gives us an opportunity to the observe our thoughts and look at steps we can make to make our next reality better if appropriate .

What can we learn from where we are now ?  and how can we take that learning into our future reality?

What purpose is that thought serving ? and is it making you happy ?

 

Let me give you an example of one of my own experiences where i felt my critical mind trying to lead me down an unhappy road.

I decided to start an art class a few weeks ago, having no previous experience of painting or drawing. Stick men was about the depth of skill.

However i took the class and 10 weeks later producing some watercolour paintings that were by no means ” skilled’ by any stretch of the imagination….however when at home painting away on my table i enjoyed what i was doing, immersed in the experience and taking all i had learned over the past 10 weeks and putting into action. I lost a day or more just enjoying this for what it was. Fully in the moment.

Only upon returning to the class and putting my work along side the other budding artists in the class did my thought process begin to change…..all of a sudden my mind had changed , i became less happy and more critical of myself and my work….so  i began observing what was happening in my mind ….

That critical mind …i watched her….comparing my work to others and all of a sudden the pure peace and joy i had experienced at home , when i had been in the moment had gone.

Then the mind continued…..looking for someone or something to blame, the contentment of simply what was had changed. I looked within myself and my mind tried to  criticise and outside at external objects and did the same.

Now the pictures had not changed, hey were the same paintings i had been rather happy with at home.  I observed that it was not THE reality that had changed,  it was my MIND that had changed. It had decided to try to change its whole perception of the experience.

Once we are able to observe our thoughts , separate ourselves then we are able to rationalise those  thoughts and feelings and not allow them to define your true potential. Although your thoughts may seem true at the time th, they are not….. actually the truth is that they have  been influenced by your past experiences and then the mind creates a ‘false image’ which you believe.

As we begin to observe our thoughts we can begin to make steps to make sure that they do not become the controller of a negative mind nor determine your behaviour.

Improve your inner confidence.

How you talk to yourself can have a huge influence on your feelings and confidence.

Spring clean your mind and clearing out the negative positive can actually determine your behaviour and outward confidence or strength.

Begin by jotting down as many positive characteristics (whether you think you have them or not) you can think of .

For example, I might write:
Calm  /   Intelligence  /  Humour  / Generosity  / Approachability  / Determination  / Strength  / Quick witted /  Kind etc…..

I’m not just asking you to focus on your own present or even future qualities here, but just on the words.

Take a few moments writing them down each day, then a few moments running your eyes up and down your list (it doesn’t matter if it’s a similar list each day). Really reflect upon what each word means to you.

You’ll be amazed how doing this will powerfully prime your unconscious mind. (And if you haven’t got time to write your own list, then print mine above and pop it in your wallet or purse.)

Steps for happiness & positivity…..

Do you know why we find it so  much easier to hod negative thoughts in our mind ?

We are pre programmed to register negative stuff rapidly as this is our inbuilt ‘survival  mechanism’ allowed our ancestors to sense early danger and then respond (before being eaten by that sabre tooth tiger !). However, the positive information has to be held in awareness for at least 12 seconds before it becomes a long-term memory.

So in the modern day world we still have that inbuilt ability to in sensing and responding to negative experiences, thoughts or emotions and with all of the distractions of the modern day world we do not allow (so easily) the 12 second register of the positive.

So you can see how easy it is for the negative distress to be registered and cause us anxiety, stress, depression etc in our lives today.

So we need to cultivate ways to allow the positive moments resonate and leave that lasting imprint . This is some of the stuff i have blogged about before so if you are able to take 12 seconds of pleasure in all that you do (even in a negative experience can you find a positive?)

Give it a go, you may feel it lighten your day.

Here are a few ideas ……

Read something inspirational – find some positive and motivational quotes, stories and articles that really makes you think . If you follow me on Facebook then i am always posting some to get you started, i usually post at least one a day.
Remember happiness is a choice – You are the only thinker in your own mind. Noone can impose unhappiness on you against your will…WOW!!!

Give it out and watch it it come back – Be nice to others….watch how it feels when you say hello to a passing stranger, do something kind…just bacause. Enjoy how it makes you feel, just because you can .

Give thanks for some aspect of your life every day – Allow yourself to be grateful for the big and little things you have in life , a home, loving relationship, the fact that the sun is shining (yey!!!) your dog who bounds up to great you after a long day at work ?, a smile from a stranger   ………

Each night before bed, write down 3 good things that happened that day , or just think those thoughts before bed. Start to register every positive moment to re-train your mind.

Start each day with a positive fresh mind, even though yesterday was disappointing today is a blank canvas and set your mind at the start of the day to see how many positives you can find.

 

Practice positivity – Promise yourself you are only going to talk kindly and positively today . If you are used to doing a task and then criticising yourself…try this….imagine you were encouraging a friend, loved one or child …what words would you use with them (i bet not the ones you are using on yourself right now ? !)…..remember YOY are your own best friend, you need to love yourself and you have an inner child who NEEDS encouragement in order to grow!!

 

REMEMBER HAPPINESS AND POSITIVITY ARE A RIGHT. WE HAVE THE KEY AND THE MORE YOU PRACTICE THE EASIER IT BECOMES.
