April 2018 Updates

Hi all,
It’s been a few months since the last newsletter , where does the time go!
I have been super busy immersing myself in my latest training project, you may remember me starting in November 2017 , well 5 months into the 2 year training to become A Shamanic Practitioner and I am absolutely loving it.

Using shamanic psychotherapy techniques  allows the client to use tools within a Safe and confidential space where they are able to use a Shamanic journey to delve deeper to within their own subconscious,  dream state, down through the layers  to access information and positive resources which they may be blocking from their conscious awareness. The journey takes the client to  a Theta brain wave state, which is a very deep trance like state.
Within this deep theta brain wave state (even without a “successful” journey) clients will often feel a deep sense of relaxation and well being, thus accessing a state conducive to spiritual, emotional, and physical healing.

One of the things I constantly speak to people about within my practice is the importance of hydration within the body.  A lack of quality hydration can lead to all sorts of conditions from infertility, auto immune conditions, allergies , chronic inflammation , cholesterol rising to name
but a few.
It’s not just as simple as gluggling a couple of extra glasses of water here and there, the body is 80% water and  if it is not in a constant state of hydration then the complications can be far reaching. If you are thirsty or have a dry mouth then you are waaaayyyyy beyond dehydrated. When the body is short of water Histamine is activated to try to send water (in order of priority) to the brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, and glands, then comes the muscles, bones and skin last.
If there is not enough reserve water  then it will be taken from the body which then makes the histamine over stimulated and the dis- ease of the body is shown in allergies, auto immune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, pains in joints, headaches, digestive distances , skin conditions, acid reflux , heartburn   Weight gain , hormonal imbalance , oestrogen dominance ,  CFS, fibro etc.

Stress also plays a major  factor in creating dehydration within the body as the body is on a high state of “ adrenal response” when under stress. This means the body thinks it has run a marathon constantly, yet isn’t getting the water to re balance it.
Another factor to be aware of is that  when the body is dehydrated, it is also becoming deoxygenated.
We know that cancer thrives in a low-oxygen and acidic environment ( severe dehydration) in 1931, Dr. Otto Warburg won a Nobel , he concluded that cancer cells grow due to anaerobic (without oxygen) respiration and use sugar fermentation for energy whereas healthy cells thrive in an aerobic (with oxygen) environment using protein for energy.
Prevention is always the best route .

The Sunday morning meditation workshops have been a huge success and I love showing The students some great techniques to facilitate their own energy systems for self help and healing.
We are aware that we  have a physical body, we are aware that we have an emotional self …if we are lucky we may also be aware that our emotions affect our physical symptoms, but how often do you pay attention to your energy body (chakras and meridians)?
The energy body are our subtle energy centres within both our field and physical self.
If the energy body is in balance then we are less likely to take the full impact of emotional disturbance into our physical body ( which then becomes  dis-ease or dis-harmony ).
Within the workshops the students learn about the chakras and how to balance them . Over time I can see the transformation and growth in these individuals as they both grow in confidence and awareness.
We also learn about the powerful art of visualisation, using the power of the subconscious mind to empower, gain insights or let go of old patterns .

Finding Your True Passion And Purpose In Life – Working With The Law of Attraction 

Hi all,

Ask yourself these questions……

✨Are you generally happy and content in your life ?
✨Do you feel that you have A life that gives you “good luck” and abundance ?
✨Are you living your life doing what inspires , motivates and empowers you ?
✨Are you doing what you would do if money were no object ?

If the answer to any of these questions is no then chances are you have yet to find your true passion and purpose in life. You are not working with the Law of Attraction.

The truth is that your path, purpose and purpose is there….just waiting to be shown to you.
The truth is that you have been operating from a head based logical frame of reference , which is why this hasn’t yet been revealed.
The truth is never going to be there my friends …..
The truth is located within a creative energy space…..the truth is within your heart.💗

As you are operating from a logical “programme ” , this just means that you have deeply rooted beliefs about how the world works ( and therefore what is and isn’t possible )

For example….some of the blocks I often have to clear for clients are ;

~ you must work hard to earn money ( we have false beliefs about working harder to earn money . Often we find we are stressed working all the hours under the sun and still unhappy i have 5 holidays and minimum 65 days off  a year ! )

~ I should stick with where I am , the unknown is too scary ( often we have a block on taking “risks”, so we end up staying in jobs, relationships, friendships etc even though we are unfulfilled and therefore we are settling for a “less than ” mindset )

~ if I am successful in all areas of my life then others won’t like me… ( quite often we have mistaken blocks we create about how people change when they have an abundant life , and therefore we fear becoming that personality)

~ what will I do when I achieve my hearts desire ( again we often block abundance as we fear on a deep leve that when we get is all there will be nothing left …so we keep ourselves just short of the mark !)

Some of the tips I give to my clients before we go into deep dive work are ;

~ write down everything you are grateful for however big or small. Make the list every day, you may find yourself writing the same thing over and over , and you may find new things pop in depending on your current mindset.

~ every evening speak to your soul, your heart or your higher self and ask to be guided and shown that insights.

Ask your heart / soul to show you ; 
~ show me heart what do I need to do to fulfil my life’s purpose ?
~ show me heart a message about my life’s mission
~ show me heart a path or a vision that takes me closer to my true purpose .

And then thank your heart , it is done !

Do this every day and night for 4 weeks and you will start to find those insights come through…also start to notice the synchronicity coming up in the people you meet .

Listen for the messages. …..They are always there.

I work as a Transformational Coach and I can tell you now that  just working through some of this if you are consistent with it  will bring great changes in your life.

How can I benefit from Meditation ?
What is Meditation all about ?

Today I decided to write a blog about the many amazing benefits of meditation as many of my clients have been asking me what meditation is all about.

There are so many different ways we can meditate, it really doesn’t have to be about sitting for hours in silence which can be extremely time consuming and hard to practice in the world we live in…..and this is really why we DO need meditation .

I teach meditation classes , not just on the mindful practice that meditation is known for , but also looking at guided meditations, chakra awareness , feeling energy for physical healing , Prana  breath work ( to name but a few techniques) .

The world we live in is gettting faster and busier and we need to relearn tools and techniques to allow us to be able to cope in the world.
If we do not counterbalance this fast pace of life that we all live in then we become seriously unbalanced which has a huge effect on our emotional and physical health….by which time it becomes then a colossal task to bring back that balance and it may take us years to overcome this obstacle.

I’m sure you have all heard many times that prevention is better than the cure and if we can approach meditation with this mindset then we are far more likely to achieve a sense of peace and lasting balance with ease.

Did you know that just 20 minutes of meditation nourishes your body in the same way that 4 hours of good sleep does…..so just 10 minutes = 2 hours of sleep.
So if you struggle to sleep then it’s a no brainer …..meditate!

Furthermore, it is relevant to note that  meditation also helps you to achieve a much better quality of sleep. So here is a list of some of the further benefits meditation offers for the MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT ( ENERGY, SOUL );

     MIND BENEFITS OF MEDITATION :
~ reduces monkey chatter
~ improves concentration
~ reduces mental stress
~ refreshes and rejuvenates the mind
~ calms the mind
~ improves thought processing and clarity
~ improves ability to effectively communicate

    BODY BENEFITS OF MEDITATION:
~ reduces anxiety ( stabilises adrenal function)
~ Lowers high blood pressure
~ reduces depression ( improves serotonin)
~ increases immune function
~ reduces tension headaches
~ increases energy levels
~ improves mood swings ( balances the pituitary and increases seratonin )
~ balances pain receptors ( as oxytocin releases )
~ helps insomnia ( by balancing the pineal gland)
~ decrease muscle and joint problems as relaxation improves and stress decreases

     SPIRIT / SOUL / ENERGY BENEFITS OF MEDITATION:
~ creative abilities improve
~ intuition is developed
~ overall sense of peace increased
~ anxiety decreases
~ feelings of connectedness to others increases
~ problems are dealt with easily
~ negative emotions disappear easily
~ harmony and balance is achieved
~ emotions are more balanced
~ ability to live and embrace the moment ( not living in the past or future)
~ focussed awareness
~ expanded state of Consiousness
~ peace of mind

Effortless transition from being something to merging with the infinite and recognizing yourself as an inseparable part of the whole cosmos
In a meditative state, you are in a space of vastness, calmness and joy and this is what you emit into the environment, bringing harmony to the Creation/planet.
Meditation can bring about a true personal transformation. As you learn more about yourself, you’ll naturally start discovering more about yourself.
How to get meditation benefits

So in summary, to experience the benefits of meditation, regular practice is necessary and as you begin it can help if you join a class whilst you practice to share the space.
If you practice at home too …..It takes only a few minutes every day…..once you get into the practice I’m sure (like me ) you will find that meditation is the best part of your day!
