Postcard From Norfolk
Salt marshes with twisting muddy paths
Big blue skies meet where waves crash .
Where flora and fauna and wild poppies sway
Upon windy cliff tops worn away.
The jewel that is Holkham white sands and lagoon
Peppered with grasses and glorious dunes .
Colourful beach huts at Wells Next the Sea
To count crabs in your bucket from down at the quay .
The walk through time along old Cromer pier
It’s Victorian shabbiness splendidly dear .
Fresh Cromer crab it’s fame is well told
To return here to Norfolk will never grow old .
