Deep conscious breath work and the importance of Meditation has been ignored and neglected by us all.

Meanwhile chronic illnesses, stress and anxiety are at an all time high.

In medical studies where both lung capacity and breathing style are measured, up to 95% of patients were breathing in way that a trauma patient would be expected to breathe.

The range of studies was not on unhealthy people with lung conditions or traumatised patients.

They were every day people like you and I.

The truth is we have forgotten how to breathe.

In our every day lives we are breathing in a way that we were designed to breathe when our body needs to respond to danger. Or to recover from trauma or pump short term into the lungs.

When we are doing this we are starving the brain and therefore the rest of the body of oxygen. When we starve the brain and body of oxygen it becomes acidic. Over time this acidic state leads to inflammation.

Most of the modern illnesses (Fibromyalgia, Endometriosis, CFS, Cancers, RA, Arthritis, Alzheimer’s, ME, Crohn’s to name but a few) are caused by too much inflammation (deoxygenation ) within the body.

When we are anxious, on a biochemical level the body is trying to get more air into the system quickly.
